Due to the ongoing burden across the globe, the GMC has now cancelled PLAB 2 exams until July 2020. The statement below was made on the GMC website;
Coronavirus – information for candidates who are taking PLAB exams.
Following the latest advice from the UK government, all PLAB 2 tests from 18 March until at least 1 July 2020 are cancelled. We appreciate the considerable inconvenience this may cause, but your health and safety are our priority.
You will receive an automatic refund to the card you used to pay for your booking in 10 working days. And you can book available alternative dates using GMC Online. If you need to contact us, please email PLAB@gmc-uk.org – we will respond as soon as we can. Please do not call us at this time. Currently, PLAB 1 tests are still operating as normal. We’ll continue to monitor the situation and update you.
We prompt all plabbers out there to take care and observe all precautions listed by the World Health Organisation. For those that already booked flights, kindly contact your airlines for possible refunds or date change.
