From 29 September 2021, we’ll open PLAB 2 bookings for tests taking place before the end of August 2022.
We’ll open the bookings in phases. We’ll invite candidates to book their PLAB 2 place, based on when they passed their PLAB 1 test:
- 29 September – 5 October: doctors who passed PLAB 1 before November 2020 will be able to book their test.
- 6 – 12 October: we’ll invite doctors who passed PLAB 1 between November 2020 and May 2021 will be able to book their test.
- From 13 October: doctors who passed PLAB 1 in August 2021 will be able to book their test.
Every candidate eligible to sit PLAB 2 will be able to book a place on a test. This is due to the work we’ve done to increase our testing capacity, which includes opening our temporary assessment centre earlier in the year.
