GMC means General Medical Council which is a body that provides you with a license to work in the UK after a successful PLAB 2 result and registration processes.
To get registered with the GMC, you need;
- ECFMG EPIC verification which is simply a body that verifies your primary medical qualification. This stage can be done even before writing your IELTS. It depends on when you are ready to verify your qualification.
- Valid IELTS
- Certificate of good standing with your home medical body
- Registration fee – £156 for doctors with less than 5 years experience and £406 for more than 5 years experience
- Internship ccertificate
- Properly filled application form
